Court orders

What are court orders?

A court order is anything a judge or justice of the peace tells you to do or not do.

There are 3 main types of orders:

  1. notices from the police, which have a similar power to a court order
  2. court orders made before or during your trial
  3. court orders about your sentenceA sentence is the punishment that the court gives you if you're found guilty.X made after your trial
